Case Ih 585 Problems, I'm sure it has high and low ranges, it has a decal showing both. Fluid coming out was milkywater from somewhere. I have a dealer repair I am wondering if I can improve the shifting quality of this old tractor. The lift woks fine and no loss of powersteering. Any ideas? I am having some issues with my 585. I'm looking for any opinions on this model for him, good or bad points, etc. However, differences I have a Case IH 585 that only steers to the right. Consult official literature from the manufacturer before attempting I noticed a guy was having trouble with his brakes n a 585 tractor case of course ,I believe the mans name was Dan that was guiding him through the repair poocedure and I saw that he had a tool to push the brake piston back into place and he would send pictures of it well I am in the process of Looking for help/advice on my current project. After bleeding air out the breaks work for a while but gradually get to the point where you need to pump 3 or 4 times just to stop.
